La Bataille de Dresde

A simulation of the three-day battle for control of Dresden in August 1813, recreating unit positions, commanders and operational constraints from the historical engagement. Players command individual battalions, cavalry squadrons and artillery batteries, issue orders to corps and marshal-level leaders, and maneuver formations across a large hex map reflecting terrain and supply centers. Combat resolves at the formation level with rules for morale, command control, artillery fire and cavalry shock, while reinforcements and line-of-communication considerations affect operational options. Scales and orders of battle are historically detailed, supporting two to eight players who divide command among the coalition and French forces and replay the unfolding campaign-level battle.
