Command a Napoleonic corps or division in a tactical game for beginners and veterans, using infantry battalions, artillery batteries, and cavalry regiments in historical scenarios or battles between any armies. Momentum and interrupts shape a flexible sequence of play in which the two commanders contest the pace and order of events. Movement uses complications rather than detailed formations, while redesigned combat produces decisive attacks or retreats. Skirmish screens influence momentum, targeting, and rallying, and general figures allow commanders to define their intervention in the battle. Games typically last about three hours with roughly a dozen units per side and minimal record-keeping.
