Lion Rampant: Medieval Wargaming Rules

A set of medieval miniature wargaming rules for skirmish battles using armies of 4–6 units per side. Units contain 12 foot or 6 mounted miniatures and can be played with models of any scale, though 28mm miniatures are intended. Players activate units by rolling dice and issuing orders suited to each troop type. Knights are more likely to charge, while archers are easier to command to shoot. The rules abstract medieval warfare to keep battles straightforward and playable.
