National Economy

A worker-placement game about balancing population growth with economic development. Players place workers on quarries, mines, construction, education, farming, and market spaces to gain cards, build buildings, increase their workforce, produce food, and access limited cash. Workers require salaries each round; unpaid costs force players to sell private properties, adding money to the public economy. Population can grow freely but does not directly score, and excess workers become an ongoing financial burden. At the end of the game, victory points come from the total selling value of all assets.
