Railway Rivals

Design railway lines across a hex-grid map of towns, rivers, hills, and coastlines, paying more to cross difficult terrain or build alongside existing routes. Connect to other players’ lines and rent track when needed. After the building phase, race between randomly selected pairs of towns. Efficient networks provide shorter routes and more opportunities to win races, while blocking opponents and choosing when to share track add tactical decisions.
