Rune carvers compete to earn honour by carving stories, memories, confessions, and tales of glory into stone for the Jarl. Players roll dice to determine their available tools, then choose rune texts matching the required combinations. Crystals provide energy for carving and can be spent in assistance chambers to alter the available tools. Completed runes may also earn praise in the Jarl’s Grand Hall. The game ends when one player uses all their energy, and the most honourable carver becomes the Rune Master.
