Snorkeling

Players dive beneath the waves to collect marine-themed cards and stay underwater as long as possible while forcing others to surface. On a turn, a player places a card that is exactly one value higher than the center pile’s top card, or plays one or more cards that match the center pile’s color regardless of value. After that, the player may play exactly one card onto another player’s personal pile if its value is exactly one less than that pile’s top card (color ignored). A round ends immediately when any personal pile receives a value-0 card; players score the value of their pile’s top card. Rounds repeat until a player’s cumulative score reaches or exceeds 12.
