Adds eight new Spirit sheets and twenty aspects that expand the roster of playable forces, each representing different elemental and thematic powers drawn from deep island legends. Players choose and develop a Spirit, use unique powers and growth options, and coordinate with Dahan and other Spirits to repel invading colonizers. New threats, events, and power cards increase variety and scale of the invasion and defensive options, introducing fresh strategic combinations and scenarios for cooperative play.

“Does my Incarna count as Presence, and what happens if it leaves the island?”
While on the island, an Incarna may count as any or all of the pieces printed on it, including Presence; it remains only an Incarna while off the island. If it is counting as another piece, it still counts as only one piece, not multiple Presence. (Rulebook, pp. 8–9, 24)
“Can I use an extra Spirit action in the middle of resolving another action?”
No. Extra Actions during the Spirit, Fast, or Growth Phase may be taken at any time in that phase, but cannot interrupt another Action; Fast/Growth extra Actions cannot interrupt a Power, and Spirit-Phase extra Actions cannot interrupt a Growth Action. (Rulebook, p. 10)
“Do the Ravage, Build, and Explore steps still happen if there is no card in that space?”
Yes. The Ravage, Build, and Explore steps always occur, even when their corresponding Invader Board space has no Invader Card. An effect can change or skip an action within a step, but the step itself is not skipped. (Rulebook, pp. 17, 23)
“When I upgrade or downgrade an Invader, do I add a new piece and remove the old one?”
No. Upgrade or downgrade replaces the Invader with the next-largest or next-smallest type, without adding anything; attached tokens and damage remain. Downgrading an Explorer removes it, while Cities generally cannot be upgraded unless an effect specifically allows it. (Rulebook, pp. 11, 22–23)
“Can I change the element I chose for a flexible element space during the turn?”
No. A flexible element space lets you choose one of the shown Elements at any point during the turn, but you cannot change that choice until the next turn; the element is lost when the space is covered or when Time Passes. (Rulebook, pp. 10, 24)
“Do I really start with an extra Blight on the Blight Card or Blight space?”
Yes. The Nature Incarnate errata changes setup so that the game starts with exactly 1 additional Blight on the Blight Card or Blight space. (Rulebook, pp. 6, 24)
