Rewrite history in 1000 AD as competing medieval factions struggle to control Europe through warfare and political intrigue. Build cities, armies, and fleets; form and break alliances; spy on rival factions; and move troops across a large map of Europe. Armies include knights, cavalry, infantry, and peasant troops, while fleets use warships, raiders, and transports. Each season allows factions to recruit units or expand their cities and income. Battles use a 2d6 combat system to resolve opposing forces as they fight for control of territory.
