The Devil's Wind

A tabletop wargame covering battles of the Indian Mutiny of 1857–58, with players commanding Honourable East India Company or regular British forces against Mutineers. The rules support both cooperative play, with Mutineers directed by automated generation and action rules, and conventional games between opposing players. Designed for two to three hours on a table of roughly 7' x 4', the system uses no figure, time, or ground scale and focuses on fast-moving action and rolling plenty of dice. The full-colour rules include illustrated examples, scenic suggestions, a sample scenario, a photocopiable play sheet, a reading list, and recommendations for figure manufacturers.
