The War: Europe 1939-1945 – Expansion Kit

This expansion adds twelve scenarios covering the European theater of World War II, including the Battle of Britain, Stalingrad, Kursk, the Italian campaign, Arctic convoys, and bombing the Reich. It also includes three alternate-history scenarios and two campaigns based on invasions that were never carried out. A 38-page optional rulebook introduces hidden buildups, variable French and Soviet surprise, expanded diplomacy, solitaire diplomatic rules, a stronger Spain, and additional German formations. Forty-nine variants, two counter sheets, scenario-specific sequence-of-play booklets, and the required cards support the new scenarios and rules.
