The Wretched

A solo journaling role-playing game about the last surviving crew member of an intergalactic salvage ship. After an engine failure and an attack by a hostile alien lifeform, the survivor is stranded between stars, struggling to maintain the ship and stay alive. Play uses a deck of cards, a tumbling block tower, and a microphone. Cards prompt journal entries and shape the unfolding story, while the tower represents the survivor’s dwindling stability and ability to endure isolation, fear, and near-certain death.
