Players use their knowledge of astronomy to observe the sky and anticipate the movement of the planets according to the Ptolemaic model. Each planet moves at a different speed, while the sun and moon also affect play. Players identify astral conjunctions, make use of the comet, and account for the influence planets have on one another.
