Virulence: An Infectious Card Game

Players take the role of competing viruses attempting to infect a host cell and assemble components to replicate. Each round, players secretly choose a Virus card, reveal simultaneously to establish turn order by virulence, then pick from available Viral Component cards in that order. Components provide points in different ways or modify a player’s hand of Virus cards to influence future turns. The game mixes blind bidding/bluffing, card selection, and light engine-building in short, fast rounds that resolve in about ten minutes.
