Zaibatsu: Roleplaying the Corporate Wars of the Future

A roleplaying game set in a near-future Tokyo shaped by Japanese corporate power, cyberpunk technology, and urban conflict. Players portray operatives caught between powerful zaibatsu, using skills, firearms, lasers, cyborg enhancements, replicants, and genetic modification to survive missions in a global high-tech city. Character creation and rules are deliberately brief, with each character defined by six skills and simple values. Combat is handled quickly and verbally, emphasizing fluid, chaotic firefights and improvisation when situations fall outside the rules.
