Chaos & Alchemy

Players compete as alchemists building laboratories and seeking to turn lead into gold. Each turn, an experiment uses three dice, with each die compared to the shared Fortune Die. Successes allow cards to be drawn or played, while failures require discards. Cards provide laboratory Innovations, disruptive Misfortunes, immediate Actions, and Reactions to other players’ moves. Rolling doubles triggers Chaos and changes the Fortune Die, making future experiments easier or harder. The first player to build Innovations worth at least 10 points wins.

Played a few games with my wife and really enjoyed it. It's not a difficult game by any means but it plays quickly and there's just the right amount of screwage to be offensive without being "offensive".
