Players expand the landscape by adding tiles and placing pawns on the resulting areas. Expanding areas earns money, which is needed to bring pawns back from the pub after the workday ends. Pawns can remain on an area to help enlarge it, but other players may join in or take control of it. Managing the limited supply of available pawns is central to claiming new areas.
