As ambitious journalists, players investigate six legendary creatures rumored to exist in locations around the world. Each mystery has six uniquely identified rumor cards with values from -1 to 4, while one hidden card provides the actual proof. Players collect search cards, play rumors round by round, and reveal information to assess which mysteries are most credible before competing reporters do the same. In the basic game, time-outs allow collected search cards to be exchanged, helping players recover from uncertain decisions or support a bluff. A professional variant adds six specialized actions for more strategic play.
