Falling Crescent

Swift-paced, dual card-driven, operational-level game of the British offensive against Turkish forces in Palestine during the fall of 1918. One player commands Turkish, German, and Bedouin forces, while the other controls British, French, and Arab guerrilla units; a three-player version gives the Arab forces a separate commander. Strategic and operational cards shape encirclements, surrenders, cavalry charges, air operations, and guerrilla actions in one of the last major cavalry campaigns of World War I.
