Foragers

Players take on the roles of ancient foragers gathering fruit, fish, and aurochs for their tribe. They return food to a fire pit to share it for victory points, while tools improve their ability to forage, fish, and hunt. Skirmishes with other foragers can also earn respect. Over a set number of rounds, players simultaneously choose an action card, then take turns using four of its five listed actions. Actions include walking, gathering food, eating, discovering, resting, sharing, and collecting tools. Food ages along each player’s tableau as spoilage cards are revealed, becoming less useful over time, so players must manage their supplies and share them before they spoil.
