Heir to Europa

In a distant future, psychic powers have made warfare obsolete across Europa, but the ruler’s disappearance plunges the moon into a succession crisis. Players compete to become the power behind the throne by predicting the next ruler and manipulating the court to fulfill their forecasts. Players begin by predicting how many coteries they will win over. Each turn, they play a card representing an attempt to solicit support from a political ally. If the ally’s faction remains loyal, its special ability may also be activated. Faction loyalty decreases whenever that faction enters play, forcing players to weigh card value against using abilities before they are lost.
