History of the Ancient Seas II: DIES IRAE

Part 2 of the ultimate series covering the history of ancient civilizations. Set in the eastern Mediterranean, the game features the Persian Empire, Greek city states and Pharaonic Egypt competing for dominance. Players build fleets and armies, explore unknown lands, conquer islands and provinces, expand trade routes, and develop military, economic and cultural strength while managing the wealth, happiness and stability of their people. Designed for three players, it uses interactive micro-impulses in which players select from eight actions, with each chosen action unavailable to the next player. Players must manage conflict on multiple fronts, balancing war and diplomacy as they seek to establish the leading empire.
