Iron Curtain: Central Europe, 1945-1989

NATO vs. Warsaw Pact covering potential WWIII periods in 1945, 1962, 1975, 1983, and 1989. Scenarios include Soviet and NATO offensives along the Central European front, with forces and capabilities changing across the Cold War. Players deploy units from peacetime positions during an unpredictable prewar buildup, then conduct up to ten turns of intensive combat using armor, airmobile forces, attack helicopters, airborne units, amphibious operations, and nuclear and chemical weapons before a cease-fire ends hostilities.
