Karelia '44: The Last Campaign of the Continuation War

The last major campaign of the Continuation War (25 June 1944–4 September 1944), as Soviet forces attack in Karelia to force Finland out of the war and capture Viipuri. This operational-level game pits a powerful but deliberate Soviet army against Finnish forces using mobile defense, strong artillery, three defensive lines, and ghost units to conceal their limited strength. A variable game length reflects the uncertain duration of the campaign, while three scenarios cover the fighting.
