Liberation

Players enact an asymmetrical struggle between occupying forces and local resistance cells in wartime France. One side controls the occupier (either a player or an automa) who sets traps, patrols territory, and seeks to capture resistance operatives. The other players each lead a maquis, planning and executing missions, recruiting, and coordinating covert actions in a cat-and-mouse flow. Five historical scenarios cover 1940–1944, each introducing distinct objectives and constraints; scenarios can be played standalone or linked in a non‑legacy campaign where outcomes influence subsequent play.
