Set in England and Wales at the beginning of the Railway Age, the game uses a map of England and a leased-track mechanism. Players operate railroads, issue shares, and manage limited track cubes across a series of rounds. Each round, players may improve their railroad’s technology, determine how much track it can build, buy or lease track, and pay dividends. The game contains no luck and ends when a stock reaches $100, a railroad reaches technology level six, or all of its track has been built. The player with the most money wins.
