Mitropia

A multiplayer territory-capture game inspired by the ancient game of Go. Players place warriors, surround opposing forces, capture territory and prisoners, and use special powers to alter their warriors’ behavior. Up to five tribes, each with different abilities, compete on a randomized battlefield with terrain that affects scoring and movement. Each round, movement cards determine available actions and can be combined with special action cards. Players draw more cards of their preferred type at the end of each turn, while a handicap mechanism helps less experienced players compete.
