Overworld

Players take the role of mysterious mentors mapping the overworld before sending heroes into dungeons, in a retro videogame-inspired tile-laying game. On each turn, they draw and place an L-shaped tile from a bag, choosing its land or water side while keeping matching terrain connected, or play a Coast tile to link the two. Bird and Ship meeples claim Forest, Mountain, Reef, and Whirlpool regions. When tiles enclose an empty gap, players compete to enter it without leaving their terrain type and place a Dungeon Door. The player with the farthest-apart doors discovers the largest dungeon.
