Ovo

Ovo is a board game for 2–4 players. It plays in 20 minutes and is meant for ages 8 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 4.

Players race to return their eggs to their home by moving eggs around a shared board after they have been flipped into an opponent’s camp. Eggs bear player-specific symbols when traveling toward an opponent, but those symbols are hidden once eggs flip and begin the return trip, so ownership becomes uncertain. On each turn players move eggs by hopping, skipping or jumping according to the game's movement rules, and must track which hidden eggs belong to them as pieces are moved by any player. The game emphasizes memory and spatial planning as players try to bring their own eggs back while others alter positions.
