Players take on the roles of Rococo-era lords expanding and decorating a private palace over three years divided into four seasons. Each round they place five overseers to take actions—acquire resources, place building contracts, hire craftsmen, expand land, trade on the market, or claim the starting-player token—while the order of placements determines turn order for the next season. Craftsmen gain experience and perform contracts with varying efficiency, and seasonal effects influence construction and resource availability. Planning action timing, managing resources, and reacting to opponents’ moves shape long-term development and scoring.
