The Guardians: Explore is a board game for 2–5 players. It plays in 45–90 minutes and is meant for ages 13 and up. Ludoya players call it best with 3.

During spring break in Arthursburg, children become heroes when the town’s residents and wildlife are transformed into monsters. Players work to defeat the invading creatures, rescue the town, and earn the title of True Guardian. The game is played over eight turns in two chapters. During the Warm Up, players draft cards, select a secret super card, and receive missions that shape their strategy. In the Battle, they draw and play equipment, skills, and familiars from their decks to build power, defeat monsters, and collect trophies. Players can discard unwanted cards and fortify locations with blanket forts before joining forces against the final boss. The player with the most trophy points wins.
