Players act as fate weavers sent by the gods to prevent sudden deaths by altering events in time. Each scenario presents a timeline of moments that can be reversed or changed; players investigate clues, choose which past moments to revisit, and play short sequences to alter causes and effects. The game uses a guided scenario structure with simple rules aimed at beginners, encouraging deduction and sequencing as players test hypotheses about how events lead to the fatal outcome.
