Abra Palabra

Players are magicians who try to discard all their cards by adding them to shared piles on the table. Each card contributes syllables or sound fragments that must fit, in order, into a real word spoken aloud when played. Turns involve playing one or more cards to sum with existing cards on a pile and announcing a valid word that contains the concatenated syllables exactly as they appear. Players score by emptying their hand; play continues until someone finishes or the deck is exhausted.
