A sourcebook on heroquesting in Glorantha, examining its philosophy, mechanics, and practice from multiple perspectives. It covers gods and mortals, the worlds and mythic ages, and the nature of the Hero Planes and Otherworlds. More than 40 pages detail individual heroquests, including the Hill of Gold, the Quest for Knowledge, the Jackal’s Path, and the Westfaring. Over a dozen maps and diagrams illustrate the Hero Planes and otherworlds. Much of the material originated in RuneQuest and contributed to the development of Hero Wars and HeroQuest, with some content remaining speculative as the setting develops.
