A scientific expedition into forgotten jungle ruins uncovers ancient, reality-bending secrets that threaten sanity and time itself. Players take on investigator roles and navigate two new scenarios that can be played standalone or link into a continuing campaign. The expansion adds new investigators, player cards, encounter cards, and an exploration deck that introduces jungle hazards, traps, and environment-driven challenges. Gameplay focuses on deck-driven card play, skill tests, resource and health management, and exploration actions as investigators search ruins, confront cultists and creatures, and cope with mental stress.
