Players take the roles of investigators trapped in a bizarre, shifting dungeon and must solve a series of puzzles and encounters to escape. The scenario uses an 80-card standalone encounter set and supports solo, standard multiplayer, and an Epic mode that scales to a much larger group. Gameplay emphasizes scenario-specific challenges, exploration of interconnected locations, timed or sequential riddles, and narrative choices that affect the investigators’ progress. Components and rules accommodate a three-part mini-campaign structure or a single, large-scale session with expanded player counts.
