Arkham Horror: The Roleplaying Game

Players take on the roles of investigators in a 1920s New England setting beset by occult threats and otherworldly horrors. The game focuses on gathering clues, confronting cults and supernatural entities, and managing sanity and resources as mysteries unfold. Play uses a storytelling-focused roleplaying system: players create characters with skills, belongings, and fragile mental states, then resolve actions with dice checks, investigative phases, and scenario-driven scenes. Cooperative play emphasizes evidence collection, tactical choices in combat or social encounters, and long-term campaign progression as characters gain experience, knowledge, and new dangers.
