Battleground Historical Warfare: Alexander vs. Persia

This standalone expansion for the Battleground system covers Alexander the Great’s invasion of the Persian Empire, including armies for both sides and the complete rules. The armies are compatible with other Battleground forces. Players command units through tactical battles, with Alexander’s generals able to attach and replay command cards on their units. The larger Persian army can sacrifice command actions at the start of the game to gain additional army-building points. Official solitaire rules are available for the Battleground series.
