Players take on the roles of former fairytale antagonists now enlisted in a clandestine order that investigates supernatural occurrences across an alternate 18th‑century Europe. The setting presents familiar storybook figures inverted: villains granted a chance at redemption while erstwhile heroes have turned malevolent. Gameplay centers on collaborative narrative exploration and investigation, with characters navigating occult mysteries, moral ambiguity, and political intrigue on behalf of a religious authority.
