Players compete to establish reputations in Brussels during the 1897 World’s Fair by building Art Nouveau projects, producing and selling artworks, and courting the city’s elite. Play proceeds over four rounds using Architect cards to take actions: replace Action cards in the Art Nouveau area (paying the Architect’s value) or spend multiple Architects for free actions in the Brussels area, with the risk of one being imprisoned. Actions earn points, trigger advances on several tracks, and grant end-of-round bonuses based on card placement majorities. After four rounds and final scoring, the player with the highest total points wins.
