Burma: The Campaign in Northern Burma, 1944

An Operational Combat Series simulation of the 1944 campaign in northern Burma, covering operations from the Japanese U-Go offensive through Imphal–Kohima and related actions. Players command British, Indian, Chinese, US and Japanese forces at battalion-to-division scale over a half-week turn and 5-mile hexes, managing movement, combat, logistics and air supply in dense jungle and mountainous terrain. The system emphasizes varied unit quality, difficult supply lines, specialized formations (Chindits, Galahad, Gurkhas) and unique transport options such as elephants and oxen. Multiple short and long scenarios plus three full campaign games allow play ranging from learning sessions to multi-day operational campaigns, with solitaire and team play supported.
