More dynamic WWII platoon-level rules, with command challenges at the heart of play. A command-and-control system and Patrol Phase shape each engagement as players deploy on an initially empty battlefield and lead their forces forward. The rules include scenario generation, support options, and army lists for British, German, American, and Soviet forces from 1944–1945. They are compatible with existing supplements, campaigns, and handbooks.
