Crimson Dragon Slayer

A science-fantasy tabletop roleplaying game inspired by 1980s action films, heavy metal, and fantasy adventure. Parties may include robotic rangers, infernal elves, crystalline fairies, and other unusual combinations as they travel through the world of Thule in search of cyber crowns, magic items, and allies while opposing Lord Varkon and his crimson dragons. The self-contained system uses pools of d6s rather than d20 rolls and emphasizes improvisation. Players choose from multiple classes and races, then use familiar yet strange spells, magic items, monsters, and an extensive name generator. An introductory adventure features recognizable film archetypes, arcade-inspired monsters, and cosmic horror.
