The fifth issue of an independent journal for the Advanced Squad Leader hobby includes articles on scenario design, historical battles, and play-related topics. It features twelve scenarios covering conflicts from the First World War era through the Second World War and the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. Actions include British paratroopers defending a hotel during Market Garden, French cavalry and tanks attacking German anti-tank guns in 1940, armored clashes at Kursk, and infantry assaults on Japanese cave positions at Okinawa and Attu. Other scenarios depict fighting in Poland, New Guinea, the Ardennes, and Yad Mordechai.
