Crown of Axis

In Axis, the capital of the Dragon Empire, ambitious nobles, merchants, criminals, gladiators, and metallic dragons shape the city’s fortunes. A band of heroes is hired to investigate the deaths of workers in the tunnels beneath an old arena, while their actions may attract attention from powerful figures in the Emperor’s court. This introductory adventure for 1st-level 13th Age characters can be played as a one-shot or as the beginning of a campaign. Encounters and events can be adjusted to reflect the characters’ relationships with the game’s icons.
