Defenders of the Realm: Realm in Flames and Darkness Spreads

This expansion adds nine Darkness Spreads cards to the base game, increasing variety and difficulty. The cards determine where minions appear, which Generals move, and which additional effects occur. Four Monarch City raid cards place one minion type in Monarch City and two other locations without moving any Generals. Two cards send minions to attack each inn before another Darkness Spreads card is drawn. Another places three Dragonkin and lets the player choose a General to move, while the final two start fires at specific locations.
