Dual Powers: Revolution 1917

Two rival authorities vie for control of Petrograd and the direction of post-Tsarist Russia. Players take the roles of competing political factions, using cards and actions to mobilize supporters, influence institutions, and deploy military force across the city. Gameplay mixes area control, event-driven decisions, and leadership figures whose abilities shift the balance of power. The game resolves after a set sequence of rounds; the side with greater popular and institutional support determines whether civil conflict erupts or is suppressed.

Deterministic combat in a wargame where you don't know for certain which areas are going to award points this round. Cool mechanic! The calendar is very cool as well. We enjoyed our first game and got it =)
