A historical scenario for War in the Desert, set in the Western Desert on March 24, 1941, as Erwin Rommel takes command of Axis forces in North Africa and turns probing attacks into a major offensive. Players use the game’s standard rules together with mandatory scenario rules and optional rule variations covering the situation and forces involved. The scenario can also serve as an alternate starting point for a full Western Desert or War in the Desert campaign, with Allied units positioned in Gibraltar and Iraq for campaign play.
