The campaign alternates between fluctuation and cyclicality, with each encounter changing the figure’s behaviour and prompting players to deduce patterns and prepare for future meetings. Play focuses on exploration and extended scripted scenes: a 48-page Book of Scripts supplies long-form dialogues and narrative text that guide interactions beyond the usual card-and-tile prompts. Players move through surreal dream locations—crumbling apartment towers, a rooftop cemetery, a Museum of Death, a Great Cathedral—and face environmental challenges such as a snow void and a hide-and-seek sequence while resolving story beats and character encounters.
