FAB: The Bulge

A fast-play block wargame that simulates the Ardennes offensive from 16–27 December 1944. Players command division- and brigade-level forces represented by multi-step wooden blocks and die-cut counters, maneuvering units to key points on the map and committing limited Assets where needed. Blocks show step losses by rotation and use color-coded pips to track troop quality, which can degrade or improve as units take casualties. Counters represent expendable Assets (engineers, artillery, independent regiments) and randomly drawn Events such as replacements, air strikes, interdiction, and parachute drops. Special Actions offer additional tactical choices for seizing initiative or disrupting opponent plans.
